Mr. Johnson was the custodian for the Muscogee County School District Central Registration offices on Brown Avenue when I went to work there but we all came to know, love & appreciate him as family over the years. He always had a kind word & a smile for everyone. There was no job too big or too small that he would not tackle if asked or if he noticed that it needing done. My condolences to his family members. He was one in a million. So honored to have known & loved him. Looking forward to spending eternity w/him in Glory. Karen D.
To the Johnson Family, I want to express my deepest condolences and prayers to you all. Mr. Johnson was an amazing pilar in the community but especially on King Street. He will be greatly missed. Seeing him walking the street getting his daily exercise and his kind words will never be forgotten. Love and continued blessings to you all.
It takes a village to raise a child. Mr. Johnson was part of that village. He took his job seriously as one of the "Village Chief". He had known me since I was a toddler, growing up with my grandmother Marie Hollis living next door. I often crossed paths with Mr. Johnson. He never disappointed and always greeted me and any other child in the neighborhood with a smile, way up until Adulthood. He was observant. He made sure that we knew that he "Saw" us. This made us think twice about being devious. Some things slipped past his eyes, but the part that did his lovely wife (who preceded him in death) caught it. The pair was a duo to be reckoned with! We need more adults to just give kids in the neighborhood hood a "Look".... That's all it takes to change someone's thoughts.... His "kind" will be sorely missed! The best baker around! I'll miss the sweet smells of cakes and pies..... I'll post some pics somewhere on here later... Infinite Love to the Johnson Family from Me, My son Deric in Arizona, My daughter Khristal in Dallas, Tx, and Love from My mother Geraldine ... ๐๐
