I'm still in disbelief my sweetness. I'm honored that God allowed me to hear your last words, and spent the rest of your days with you. I saw you in your final moments. You were so happy! When you expressed to me you had never loved anyone else the way you loved me, you meant that. The world saw. Things can be erased but what you and I shared could never be replaced. You had a past, but I was your future. Rest on my ❤️ love. On behalf of the boys and myself, we thank you and we love you.
Sending my deepest condolences to the entire Hoskins family during this difficult time.
Mike was a big part of my life for many years, and together we shared a chapter that helped shape our son, Quran, and our family in ways I will always be grateful for. He was once my best friend, and I miss just knowing he was out there — living, laughing, doing his thing. A part of me always thought that one day I'd get to be in the presence of his humor again. That was simply who he was... someone unforgettable.
I'm grateful that, before life took its turns, I was able to give him his closure — to tell him what he meant to me, to apologize for my part, and to remind him that he was a good man. That brings me peace now more than ever.
And Mike... you always told me one thing: "I never have to worry about Q — he's with you." I want to honor that. I got Que forever. I'll make sure he's good, supported, and surrounded by love — just like you trusted I would. You always called me your "Superwoman," and I'll continue to be exactly that for our son.
My heart is with his mother, his siblings, his children — Lanequa, Asia, and especially our son, Quran — and with every friend and loved one grieving his loss.
Praying for strength, comfort, and peace for everyone who loved him. May his memory be a blessing that stays with us forever. Rest peacefully, Mike. 🕊️💜
Our dear friend. May you rest in paradise 🙏🏾
