Obituary For Merlin Ward

Mr. Merlin Ward passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on January 29, 1960, to Betty Thomas Jackson and the late Harry Ward in Lee County, AL.

Cherishing his memories are his mother, Betty Jackson; 2 sisters, Vivian Robinson and Debora Johnson; and a host of other family and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Merlin Ward will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church with interment at Evergreen Memorial Garden.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 until 5:00 pm at Progressive.
