Pastor Mary Jones Williams passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age 70 at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, GA. She was born on October 28, 1950 to the late Silas Jones and Clara Blue in Fayetteville, NC.
Other than her parents Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a son, Ronmyka Williams, a brother Eugene Jones and a granddaughter, Jasmine Shelley.
Those left to cherish her memories are: her husband, Gregory Williams; one son, Michael Williams; three daughters, Mendi (Jeffrey) Brooks, Melinda Tucker and Melissa Johnson; Siblings, Silas Jones, Jr., Bobby Jones (Crystal), Corine Williams, Retha Jones, Priscilla Jones, Sherra Garcia, Rose Murphy, Sylvester Jones Sr., Alexander Jones, John Jones (Tiki), Frederick Jones (Kathy), Carl Jones, Michael Jones (Elizabeth), twenty grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Williams will be Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. graveside at Evergreen Memorial Garden. Service will be live-streamed (see clickable link below)
A mighty, mighty, anointed Woman of God. One of the most powerful women in gospel. I will forever be impacted and affected by your ministry. I still have a rubber maid full of your revivals. To the family my continued prayers and I pray God's strength for all of you. Never will forget!
