Milford family, my deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all. We were next door neighbors and grew up together. I got to visit Ms. Mary a couple of years ago. She had not seen me in 21 years but she knew me right away. I'm so sad for your loss. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted & saves those who are crushed in Spirit. Psalm 34:18 JoJo
The news broke because Mary Alice Morton - Milford dies at the age of 92, our hearts going out to the Morton/Milford families for this difficult time!
To the family & friends of Ms. Mary, we would like to send our condolences and love. Always in our prayers.
We pause as a family at The Haven at Columbus to honor and remember our beloved Ms. Milford. Mary was more than a resident, she was a treasured part of our Haven family. Her presence brought a quiet sweetness, a gentle spirit, and a sense of warmth that filled her room and beyond it's doors in ways words cannot fully capture.
There is a noticeable absence here now. The spaces she once filled with her presence, her expressions, and her unique way of being are deeply missed. At The Haven, we do life together, and Ms. Milford was woven into the heart of our life. Her memory will continue to live on in each of us through the love and care we shared.
During this time, we lift her family and friends in prayer, asking God to surround you with His comfort and peace:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." — Matthew 5:4
May you feel His presence in every moment, holding you, strengthening you, and bringing peace that surpasses all understanding.
