My deepest sympathy for the family of Mrs. Marie Snipes. I will always cherish the fact that you thought of me as another one of her daughters. You will be truly missed mama ! Rest well 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Whereas, again a human spirit has taken its flight at the call of the Heavenly Father to the mansion prepared for him from the foundation of the earth by an all-wise and loving God, we pen this condolence to express grief in the loss of the Aunt of Rev. Gregory Castile. Whereas, the Family has lost a loyal member, and the world has lost a noble character in the passing of Marie Snipes we rejoice that her belief in the promise of God in 1 Corinthians 15:54 is now fulfilled. When this corruptible is clothed with incorruptible, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Therefore, Be It Resolved: That, even as we mourn Marie Snipes, we are resigned to the all-wise Heavenly Father's will; That, we express our gratitude to God for having left this beautiful life among us for a time to blossom out and bless us with its sweetness and righteousness, like the fragrance of a rose; That we express to the Family and relatives who grieve today our deep sympathy in their loss and the reminder that their loss is heaven's gain. We therefore, resolve that a copy of this condolence is placed in our district records, and a copy sent to the family of the deceased.

I was 9 years old, that's when I first recall meeting you for the very first time. Josephine brought me to see you.
There you were, standing at the stove cooking. I couldn't believe it. Looking at you was like looking at Grandma Bessie. You were a carbon copy. You looked just like her, talked like her, laughed like her, even stood like her. It was clear that you had the respect of everyone around you. My dad also made sure that I knew that. Like Grandma Bessie, you had enough wisdom and understanding to instruct a Nation. You made me feel right at home, as if I belonged. You made it clear that even though miles separated us physically, it was LOVE that connected us forever.
My dad, George Castile, loved you with all of his heart. Whenever he spoke of you, a big smile would cover his face. "Marie, that's my heart right there. I've got nothing but respect for her because she is a good woman. That's my heart right there." Little did I know that it would be man years before I would see you again.
To your immediate family members, my heart is moved with compassion for all of you. It is always heartbreaking to suffer the loss of a loved one. It is incredibly painful. You are experiencing many different emotions at this time. In times like these it can be difficult to believe that God is, yet, with us, but he is. May the Holy Spirit bring you comfort. Lastly Aunt Marie, I want to make it clear that even though death separated us physically, it is LOVE that connects us, forever. Dr. Brenda Castile Daughter of George and Ruthie Castile
