Obituary For Lucy Mary Jones
Ms. Lucy Mary Jones passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born on December 7, 1935 to the late Matt Lockhart and Clara Butts Lockhart in Ft. Mitchell, AL.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Jones and a son, Arthur Grimes.
Cherishing her memories are, four sons, Peter Grimes (Gloria), Chester Jones (Felicia), Anthony Jones (Tonya), and Adrian Jones; three daughters, Sarah Norris (Gary), Lillie Mullgrave, and Kathy Marable; a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Jones will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Progressive with interment following at Evergreen Memorial Garden.
Visitation will be Monday beginning at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
Progressive Funeral Home staff is privileged to serve the Jones family.

Sending my condolences to the Jones family. She welcomed me into her family over 39-years ago. She has made me feel like family since day one. Years has gone by but I would always ask about her health. She will be missed. May God give this family comfort and strength during this difficult time.
