Lorrie ,There are so many things I wish I could say to you, and somehow, no words ever feel like enough. You were one of the strongest women I have ever known. Watching you fight cancer showed me a kind of strength I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Even when you were hurting, even when things were hard, you kept fighting. You taught me that strength isn't about never being afraid or never breaking down. It's about getting back up, holding on, and trusting God through the hardest moments. You gave me so much more than memories. You gave me your wisdom. You told me so many things about life things I didn't always realize I would hold onto so tightly until you were gone. Your advice, your stories, your little reminders about what truly matters... I hear them in my heart now. When life gets difficult, I find myself thinking about what you would tell me. I hope you know that your words didn't disappear when you left this world. They became a part of me.One of the greatest things you ever gave me was your trust. You trusted me with your son's heart. That means more to me than I could ever put into words. You raised him, loved him, protected him, and helped make him the man he is today. And then you trusted me to love him, stand beside him, and take care of his heart.I promise you, I will never take that trust for granted. And you trusted me with your grandchildren the most precious pieces of your heart. I promise you that I will always be there for them. I will love them, protect them, guide them, and be their safe place whenever they need one. I will teach them the lessons you taught me, remind them of the strength that runs through their family, and make sure they grow up knowing just how deeply their grandmother loved them.I promise to tell them your stories. I promise to keep your memory alive in the little things in the traditions, the laughter, the words of wisdom, and the moments that make us think, "Grandma would have loved this." When they miss you, I will talk about you. When they wonder what you were like, I will tell them. And when they accomplish something you would have been proud of, I will make sure they know that their grandmother is part of the legacy they carry.I promise to remind them that you were more than the woman who fought cancer. You were their grandmother. You were strong, loving, wise, and unforgettable. And although they may not get to make new memories with you here on Earth, I will make sure they have a lifetime of memories about you.I wish you could have stayed longer. I wish cancer hadn't taken you away from us. I wish you could see all the moments still waiting to happen the birthdays, holidays, laughter, milestones, and all the little everyday moments you should have been here for.But I know a piece of you will be there. You'll be in the stories we tell, in the lessons you taught us, in the strength you passed down, and in the love that you left behind.Thank you for welcoming me into your family. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for every piece of advice, every conversation, every laugh, and every lesson. Thank you for showing me what it means to fight, to love, and to never give up.I promise to carry your wisdom with me.I promise to love your son with all my heart.I promise to cherish your grandchildren, protect their hearts, encourage their dreams, and make sure they always know where they came from and how much their grandmother loved them. And most of all, I promise that your life, your love, and your memory will never be forgotten.Until we meet again in Heaven, I hope you're finally free from pain, surrounded by peace, and looking down on all of us with that beautiful heart of yours.I love you, Mom.Thank you for trusting me with the people you loved most.I promise I'll take care of them.I promise I'll take care of your grandchildren. And I promise they will always know how much you loved them.Forever your daughter-in-law sissy ,With all my love. ❤️
Granny, heaven took you before I ever thought it would. I miss you, miss all the times we would stay up at your house until 4am just talking about anything and everything. I don't think I will ever be able to explain in words just how much you mean to me and how much I love you. I'm so so proud of you for fighting so hard. God needed His strongest angel and that is you, I'm happy that you aren't in pain anymore, that you're in a better place. We will meet again up there one day. I wish there was more time with you. I miss hearing you tell me that you were proud of me, I'm going to be everything you knew I would be and so much more. I miss you and love you more than I could ever put into words. Love you eternally, Granny. Love your very first grandchild, granddaughter, Trinity.
Mom, I don't think there will ever be enough words to explain how much I loved you and how deeply I miss you. I wish I could have had more time with you—more conversations, more memories, more moments together. Most of all, I wish I could have one more chance to hold you in my arms and give you all the hugs I still have in my heart. I was blessed to be your daughter, your only daughter, and I will always be proud to call you my mom. You were an amazing mother, and you gave me a love that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. You fought cancer with so much strength and courage. You were strong, brave, and never gave up. Watching you fight showed me just how incredible you were, and I want you to know how proud I am of you. Although my heart hurts because you're no longer here, your love will always be a part of me. I will carry your memory with me every day, and I will cherish every moment we were given. I love you, Mom. I miss you more than words can say. I wish I had more time, more hugs, and more days with you. But I promise I will never stop loving you, and I will never stop being proud that I was your daughter. Until we meet again, Mom. I LOVE YOU MOM Your only daughter, forever and always. ❤️🕊️
