Ms. Julia M. Hollis quietly transitioned to her eternal home Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center. She was the owner and operator of Busy Bee Nursery Center in Columbus, Georgia.
She was a devoted member of Nazareth Baptist Church. Ms. Hollis was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Alvertus and Mrs. Johnnie Mae Davis; one sister, Christine Porter; and a sister-in-love, Edna Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Sonja Page, Twyonia Porch; two brothers, Robert Davis, Aubrey Davis(Patricia); three grandchildren, Jalisse Page, Jameka Page, Juliana Porch; one special God-son, Rodney Scales(Michell); and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration Service for Ms. Hollis will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 12 O'Clock Noon at Green Acres Cemetery, Pastor Reginald Jackson will be officiating.
The Staff of Progressive Funeral Home is honored to support the family with End of Life Services.

I was sorry to hear of Mrs. Hollis' transitioning. God of all consolation, in Your unending love and mercy for us, I ask that You show compassion to the family of Mrs. Hollis. Give them peace and strength during this time of bereavement. I remember Mrs. Hollis well from when she use to bring her Nursey children to Nazareth's Vacation Bible School.
