Mrs. Johnnie Marie Paige passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the age of 85 in Columbus. She was born on April 8, 1937 to the late Sylvester Galston and Lessie Slaughter Gastorn in Montgomery, AL.
Mrs. Johnnie Paige was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was a Life Insurance Agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 50 years before her retirement.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Paige was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Paige; two sons, Curtis and Kelvin Paige and a brother Sylvester Garston.
Surviving her departure with cherished memories include, daughter, Janet Paige Smith (David Mark Smith, Sr.); son, Kenneth C. Paige, daughter-in-law, Patsy T. Paige; sister Ruby Lee Carter; six grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Johnnie Marie Paige will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with interment immediately following at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Progressive.
