Obituary For Jessie Bell Booth
Ms. Jessie Bell Booth passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 93. She was born on September 9, 1929 to the late McKinley Wardlaw and Rosa Robinson in Columbus.
She was a graduate of Radcliff High School and was a Healthcare Administrative Assistant for the State of Alabama.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Clay Booth.
Cherishing her memories are, five sons, Michael O. Booth, Ronald Booth (Gwendolyn), Steven Muhammad, Robert Booth (Genavieve) and Garth Booth; one daughter Yolandra Stewart (Harold); a host of other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Jessie Booth will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Progressive with interment at Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 9:30 until 2:30 PM at Progressive.
Progressive Funeral Home staff is privileged to serve the Booth family.

Ms. Booth was working at Russell County Health Department when I started working there in 1986. She was such a sweet and special lady. It was my privilege to work with her until she retired. My condolences and prayers for all her family. 🙏 Sherry Prins
