Mr. James Murdock Johnson passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the age of 80. He was born on December 17, 1943 to the late Bessie Johnson in Newport News, VA.
The Homegoing Celebration for CSM (Ret) James Johnson will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Greater Beallwood Baptist Church with interment immediately following at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday 2 - 5:00 PM at Progressive.

I had the distinct honor of serving with CSM Johnson, he was a great leader.
I am so sad to hear about Uncle Bill. I will always remember the drives my father took from Connecticut to South Carolina. We always enjoyed spending time with him. I loved seeing him because we shared the exact same mark on our faces. It was time well spent and those memories I will forever hold close. Family! you have our deepest sympathy. Please find comfort in the words in 1 Corinthians 15:54 and John 5:28.

We are all so sad to hear that Uncle Bill had passed.We didn't see him as often as we would have liked,the last time we visited South Carolina we were able to spend time with him, we will treasure that memory.we do look forward to seeing him again John 5:28,29.
