🕊 Aunt Icyphine's life was compassionately fulfilled. Beautifully her head is adorned with a crown for her Faithfulness. She is wrapped in a majestic purple robe for her wisdom and Love she displayed for all...
Auntie shared with me the last time we spoke, "It Is Well With My Soul". Don't you worry baby. It is well with my soul auntie. Love is powerful. It leaves a memory that no one can steal. Death leaves a heartbreak which only Heaven can heal.
Thoughts of you Forever, 🕊
Your loving niece and nephew, G and Edward Crawford (Spirit, Truth, and Liberty Ministries) of Columbus, Georgia
Mrs C, (as I called her) was a sweet, kind and spiritual person. When my sister married James jr, she accepted her as a daughter into her heart and family. I always said, If I didn't have the parents I had Mr & Mrs C would be my choice. We will miss her but knowing she is no longer in pain is some consolation to losing her. Rest well Mrs C. We will take care of Mr C. Love The Johnson Family (Lynn, PJ, Mona, Clint, Phyllis, and Emmett) from Canton, MS.
Rest well dear servant of the most high God! Deepest condolences to the family. Mrs. Icyaphine has always been dear to my heart starting with being my Sunday teacher, supporting everything dealing with the up bringing of children at Mt. Gilead and I remember her seat in the choir! Soft spoken! She helped to mold me! Praise the Lord for such a faithful woman!
I am a genuine bonifide Columbusite, born & raised in Columbus. And though I cannot remember the pleasure of meeting & talking to Mother Crawford, I know her son. We met & share church affiliation at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Lilburn, GA. My wife Jackie & I joined Salem in 1994. And shortly thereafter we met Mother Crawford's son, James, his wife, Veronica & their son, daughter & later, their grandchild. And every since then, James & I, as homeboys away from home here in The ATL, we became close friends, like Brothers of a different Mother. We have shared great life experiences on so many different levels.
As James is an offspring of Mother Crawford, I can say unequivocally, she raised a wonderful person. We have become great friends at Church & in our home communities. The qualities Mother Crawford instilled in James must be some of her same qualities. James is a humble servant of GOD, kind, gracious & ready to aid most anyone in any way he can.
Though our paths never crossed while we lived in Columbus, James & I share a friendship a mindset I will cherish until my dying day.
Jackie & I have experienced a great kinship & fellowship with the Crawfords. Our relationship ranks pretty high among all the people we have ever met!
So to the family, we extend our condolences in this time of grief. And may Mother Crawford's life be long celebrated, remembered & revered. To GOD Be The Glory! Amen! 🙏
