To the Upshaw Family, know that you have my deepest sympathy and are in my prayers. Deborah Lee (Willis Plaza)
Jeff - I am really sorry to hear about your dad. My condolences to you and your family.
May Papa Hut rest in peace...give yourself time to grieve. I trust the peace of our Lord will sustain you.
My condolences to the Upshaw family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, regardless of how long they have lived. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died (John 11:35) and it pains our loving Heavenly Father, too. He did not purpose his human family to grow old and die but purpose us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose (Psalm 37:11, 29). He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever__1 Corinthians 15:26 “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” He promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death__ Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” Our love one will return to youthfulness__ Job 33:24, 25 “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” Then our loving Creator will “satisfy the desire of every living thing” (Psalms 145:16). What a delight it will be to see them again to enjoy life as our Creator purposed! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved one. Please remember the scriptural promises at Acts 24:15 and Rev 21:3, 4 and draw comfort. Isaiah 55:11.
