I have fond memories of Ms Thompson when we worked at the Reception Battalion, Sand Hill, Ft Benning, GA. At the time I was the exec asst to the commander and Ms Thompson would often come through raising "heck" about something on behalf of her department (PAB). She truly loved the young Soldiers processing through her department, so needless to say, she mostly got what was needed for them and her staff! Eventually I was promoted out of the battalion but always remembered her fire, her passion. Sending sincerest heartfelt condolences to the Family.
My deepest condolences to the family of my dear friend Erma. She was a beautiful person inside and out may God grant peace, comfort and solace to the family. I am including my phone number because I would like to talk to any of the family and express my sincere sympathy. Praying mightily for all of you. Gwendolyn Bryant 706 987 2524. ( I am the Gwen that used to hang out with Erma and I have so many memories. Hope to hear from any of her children. )

Mrs. Thompson was my second supervisor when I started working in Fort Benning. I learned a lot from her, not just workwise but personally also. I shall miss her very much. To her family my deepest condolences and know that she was a great wise lady.
