Carla and Kelvin, I just wanted you to know how saddened I was when I saw Emma's obituary in the paper today. You probably would not remember me but I am Catherine Giglio's ( Mrs. G to your mom) daughter. I have such fond memories of Emma working with my mother at Casual Corner. I continued to see her at Mansour's , Parisian and Macy's . She always had that beautiful smile on her face and looked like a million dollars. Despite not knowing you personally, we always talked about both of you every time I saw her and she always wanted an update on my children. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and I am shedding a few tears over the loss as well. She was beautiful inside and out and I loved her as did my mother. Debbie Garrett

Ms. Emma was the mother-in-law of my niece,Tanny. Every time that I saw her she was so full of live and such a great spirit. I will cherish the memories of her humor that she shared with her son, they loved to make jokes about each other. It was plain to see how much they adored each other. I pray that her family will be comforted with all of the warm memories they shared. -Debora Johnson

Emma and I were neighbors when we lived in Vista Estates back in the day. I remember once it was storming really bad and Doug was working. Emma called me in the middle of the night and asked me to come over and stay with her and Carla. So this Emma (me) went trucking in the rain to be with a good friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. May God wrap his arms of comfort around today and for the years to come. Love, Emma Griggs
Your Family and all of us will miss you. Your life as lived will always be a great reflection of you. It was an honor to have been apart. James and Gloria Brown
I loved Emma! I know that right now you are laughing out loud with arms open wide running to Jesus.....then to find Douglas. Wow! what a reunion Emma. We may not have seen much of each other lately but our many conversations were priceless. I am praying for peace that passes all understanding for Carla and Carly and the rest of you family.
