Obituary For Dorothy Maddox
Ms. Dorothy Maddox passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born on June 18, 1938, to the late Hubert Cotton and Aline Ransom Cotton in Hamilton, GA.
The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Maddox will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ga, with interment at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 2 until 5:00 PM at Progressive.

Aunt Dot Maddox will be truly missed. She was such a sweet lady to me and others. She was a great cook, and a loving person. May God continue His Blessings on her children and family during this time. Heave has gained another angel.
Ms. Maddox was a true gem and light in this world. I am so grateful for her love and great joy she brought to this world. Heaven truly has an angel amongst them now. I will miss her delicious cakes and wonderful meals. She was an amazing woman and leaves a beautiful leagacy to cherish her memory.
