I was so saddened to hear of my dear friend Dot Jean passing. She and I met at Baker high School in the early seventies and were good friends ever since. We'd often check in on each other to see how we were getting along. I will miss my friend. Condolences to the family and her brother Anthony Turner. I loved her spirit and always ask about her when I'd see him. Rest in peace my sister, until we meet again. Love, Tawanna Beatty Peterson

This girl right here my Lord I'm gonna miss her, my only true and trusting friend 33 years of friendship. My ride or died. She is resting now, she gone to see the King RIH my friend. I Love You Dorothy Jean..
A true angel God has called home. Dot is my best friend, and I miss her so much already. She and I went through a lot, did a lot together in our lifetime. She was so funny, kept people laughing all the time, she had some jokes. Sharon would always say, she didn't know who talked the fastest, of course I would say Dot, and she would put it on me. We terrorized the neighborhood together growing up, she loved making Irvin Thornton mad, by dragging his trash can all the way down the hill, he would get so mad at her, but she did it anyway and we just laughed about it. I will always have my memories of her in my heart. Rest now, I love you my Dear Friend, and I will see you again. Condolence to her son Brandon and her entire Family. Nita West
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am sorry for your loss. May God bless and watch over the family.
