Dear God, you have called home a good Soldier, a place where we all will one day go to our Original Home. Dirk was a good family friend to the West Family for many years. He would be there for my mother, going over to sit with her. Such a kind person that would help anyone in anyway he could. He will truly be missed. The West Family loved Dirk as a true Son/brother and friend. You Rest now Dirk. Nita Jennings - Decatur GA

Minister Wheeler will truly be missed. During some challenging times for me and my family Min. Wheeler would stop and pray with me no matter where we were even in the middle ofnthe floor at a laundromat. He really brought a smile to my mother's face when he visited her st the nursing home with the biggest Mother's Day card I have ever seen. He will be remembered as a caring man of God.
With heartfelt sympathy to the family of my friend Minister Dirk Wheeler, I pray that God comfort and strengthen them in their time of sorrow. I know he will truly be missed by all those whom he encountered. Rest in peace My Friend.
We offer our condolences to Dirks family. I recall patronizing him and his dad at the shoe shop. Dirk was always honest and did great work. Lewis and Pitts Family
