Denise and I shared many things over the years: deep and abiding love for our children and families; concern for kids in need; the love of reading and sharing in a book club; fun times at Gasparilla lol; a friendship I treasured. She was a woman of strength, humor, and grace — and will be so missed. Rest in peace, my lovely friend.

My condolences to Denise's family and friends. Denise was a friend from Carver Elementary and Carver High. The class of 1971 will surely miss her birthday Greetings and acknowledgements. Talking to Denise was like taking a visit down memory lane. Rest well Denise, you will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend, Denise Green Cooper. Since fifth grade we have enjoyed conversations on many topics and have been a safe space for each other. Denise was one of the wittiest and most humorous people that I have ever known. May the family and friends of Denise Green Cooper find comfort and strength in the love and support of family and friends at this difficult time.

Extending my heartfelt sympathy to the family of my high school classmate, Denise Green Cooper. May you hold on to your wonderful memories and cherish them in your heart ... and find peace and comfort to face the days ahead. I will cherish the memories of Denise's excellent service as the reporter for events at Carver High School ... and events in the lives of the classmates of 1971.

Sending my deepest sympathy for this time. Denise and I worked numerous trips together and the one that is forefront in my memory was a 4-day Frankfurt trip. Denise decided to join me on a Rhine River day cruise and city tour that was educationally and culturally enriching. Always enjoyed getting her level-headed opinion on events. Truly will miss her updates. Fly high my Sky Friend until we reconnect at the Greatest Layover.

Denise was like a second mother to me. She was warm, welcoming and had a wicked sense of humour. I'll miss her smile and laugh. Rest in peace.

My Deepest Sympathies and Condolences for the Green and Cooper Family. Loving and knowing Denise and her family over the years at Carver Court apartments and school days at Carver elementary and Carver High school. We had many conversations of her and her sister Vivian taking care of their Dear mother. I greatly appreciate and admired the love and caretaking of Mrs. Green.... Awww Mrs. Green house is where we all gathered as children .... I am Thankful. Denise and I had many Great conversations about our lives at home in Columbus. My heart is full. I thought she would be the last of Carver High class or 1971 to leave. She needed to be here to share all the good news. I am going to miss her. "For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 4:14

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Green and Cooper families. Denise has been my childhood friend from Carver Elementary. I will miss our hours long conversations about everything. We shared a love of window bird watching, beautiful flowers, and love of family. I will always remember our memories during times we shared at class reunions, parties, dinners and as longtime friends. Rest in peace my sister friend.

I have know the Green Family since 1958. They are the oldest family from our Ft. Benning Days in Lawson Field. Pom behalf of my Family ( Liggett) , I want to wish them Love knowing that Peace and Understanding will follow in their own time. God is in control. Blessings to ALL.
