Mr. Darron Earnest Scarbrough passed away Tuesday at Midtown Medical Center at the age of 53.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Scarbrough will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Progressive Chapel with Rev. Xavier Maddox officiating.
The interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Visitation is Today, 2 til 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The son of Mrs. Annie Scarbrough Bolden of Columbus and the late Phillip E. L. Scarbrough, Darron was born in Ft. Benning, GA and was a 1982 graduate of Columbus High School. He attended Savannah State College (University) and Virginia College. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and was a sub-contractor for Home Depot. He was a U. S. Army Veteran.
Other than his father, Darron was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, 1SG (Ret) Alphonso G. Bolden, and his sister, Angela D. Perry.
Surviving his departure with cherished memories, include: his mother, Mrs. Annie S. Bolden; four children, Chiquita Walton, Darron J. Scarbrough, Joycelyn Hamilton (Arman) and Phillip J. Scarbrough; six grandchildren; three brothers, Victor V. Scarbrough (Angela), Duane Erick Bolden (Sandra) and Phillip Scarbrough (Nettie); three sisters, Diann Turner, Brenda Allen and Blanche Scarbrough (David); two uncles and three aunts, Johnny Black (Catherine), Charles B. Scarbrough, Barbara Britten (Henry), Joyce Robinson (Randolph) and Mable Scarbrough; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
