Mr. Charlie Lee Cherry, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Columbus, GA at the age of 88. He was born on October 17, 1932 to the late John and Julia Young Cherry in Lumpkin, GA.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Cherry will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. Graveside at Green Acres Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 5, 2021 beginning at 12:00 P.M. and ending at 2:00 P.M.

I Miss Charlie so Much. He was the best step dad ever. I miss him so much. God please let his soul rest in heaven.
Love our Charlie. Charlie is truly missed. Shaggy Dog he was called by some. Very humble man. A great step dad and the best husband to my mom. He was very smart and could build or fix anything. We miss him so much. Sleep on Charlie.
