I knew Cassandra for a long time as my co worker. We worked together at a non profit child care center in East Nashville. She loved all children and became "mamma to so many. So kind and caring and will be sadly missed by so many.
When Cassandra came to work at Grace M. Eaton childcare we bonded, she became the big sister I never had. We could talk about anything, and shared everything. We laughed together, we cried together, we learned together, and most of all we ate together, (lol) Anyone that knows Cassandra know Chicken is always on the menu, some days I thought I was going to start flying or clucking (lol) but chicken it was, I appreciate her being in my children and grandson's life. Just a few weeks back I told her my daughter Nika was going back to school to get her Masters, you could hear the excitement in her voice. Cassandra was all about education, learning all you can.
I'm so glad she got to move back home with her mom, she always talked about that. I'm sad with tears typing this but I know God makes no mistakes, I have lots of good memories to hold on to.
Family cherish those memories because that's what she would want.

Ms Cassandra was a beautiful soul. She embraced me with open arms the moment we met. She treated me just like family. She is definitely loved and truly will be missed. She has completed the plan that God had for her on earth now she has gained her wings. Rest In Peace beautiful Queen. 🙏🏽❤️
Cassandra had a calmness and a peace which I admired. She had a sweet smile and a soft voice. Cassandra was a loyal servant. Such a pleasure to be in her presence ♥️. She will be missed

So sad to hear of the passing of Cassandra. Praying for God's peace over her family and friends during this time.
I am still in shock and cannot believe Cassandra has gone home to be with the Lord. My heart is aching. She and I met many years ago when she came to work at Martha O'Bryan Child Development Center in Nashville and quickly became friends. We called each other "sister" as that is what she came to mean to me as well as to my "real" sisters. She was family. I am really going to miss her just as I have since she moved back to Georgia. We had some great time and also shared some sad times. To Brandi, her Mom , siblings and the rest of her family, you have my deepest sympathy. May the Lord hold you all close and may He fill you with his love, peace, and comfort. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4 Stephanie Coleman, Nashville, TN
