Mr. Burnett Rogers Nelson passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on November 7, 1951, to the late Walter Lee Nelson, Sr., and Irene Griffin Nelson in Natchez, MS.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Nelson will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Progressive with interment at Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
