Losing a loved one is difficult. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Blake was one of the first friends I made at Hampton freshman year. I as always was quiet to point of coming across stand offish but his outgoing and humorous nature quickly broke through. We by happenstance ended up both in Boston for EMSSP and then again in Atlanta. He truly was like family to me. I am incredibly saddened by his passing. I pray for his family during this time that they are able to find peace. Rest in heaven.
The Brothers of the Eta Phi Chapter, Boston, Massachusetts of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. want to express our deepest and humblest sympathy to the family of our departed brother, Blake-Edward. Our hearts are heavy. We hope you can find some comfort in the words of scripture found in Proverbs 3: 5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” KJV
God’s Peace unto all of you,
The Brotherhood of Eta Phi Chapter, Boston, MA Bro. Ronald Riggs, Basileus, Bro. Wendell Bourne, Chaplain
Blake was one of the first people I met at Brookstone and he was instantly a friend. His wit and infectious laugh made it impossible not to love him. How lucky this world was to have him for 35 very short years. Sending all of love and comforting thoughts to Blake's family and friends during this impossibly difficult time.
To the Matthews Family we send you our prayers and condolences in a time like this...the Word of The of Most High says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. However, I know it was too short of a time to have had Blake with us. Please trust The Most High in the process of what happened and what's going to happen. I pray for strengh, peace and love to get through the process.
Love you the Denson Family
To the Matthew's family, wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Those we love don't go away they walk beside us everyday unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.

My friend, my friend, my friend. Blake and I recently reconnected over the summer after not seeing each other for awhile and there wasn’t a beat missed. He was a kind, gentle soul who knew how to have a good time! Thanks for all the belly aching laughs and bear hugs, Blake! I’m grateful & happy to have known you. Get some rest, buddy.
Blake was a kind soul. He brought so much light to so many people. My sincere condolences to the family.
I was very lucky to have known Blake. He will be greatly missed.
Blake was basically me and my dad’s best friend at Bone Lick. He knew our orders by heart and was incredibly friendly to us. He was an amazing person to have a laugh with, and we’ll miss him dearly.
