Mr. Anthony Orange, beloved father, cousin, and friend departed this life on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at his home in Phenix City, Alabama.
Mr. Anthony Orange was born Saturday, August 21, 1954, in Cape Charles, Virginia to the late Ms. Lucille Trower. He was the widower of the late Mrs. Bertha Mae Jones-Orange and the former husband of Mrs. Judith Orange-Jones.
Mr. Orange was an army veteran of The United States military where he served in the communication field. He attended First African Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia, and Franchise Missionary Baptist Church in Phenix, City Alabama.
Mr. Orange “Tony” was a man of many talents, an “engineer” at heart who was fascinated with music, electronic devices, and LED lights who could fix just about anything he put his hands on.
We will miss him dearly. He will be remembered most for his charismatic nature, his ability to make others laugh effortlessly, and his easy-going attitude about life, as he would call it, “smooth sailing”.
To cherish his memory, Tony leaves a daughter: Mrs. Julia Lucille Orange Harper (Carlos); a former wife: Mrs. Judith Orange-Jones (Calvin); a stepson: Mr. Christopher Williams; a step-grandson: Master Jamel Williams; a granddaughter: Ms. Alexis Cooper, a foster nephew: Mr. Elijah Baker; cousins: Ms. Cheryl Gosha, Mrs. Carol Gardner (Lee), Ms. Tammy Bryson, Mr. Marcus Smith (Lisa), Ms. Melika Smith, Mr. Mori Thomas (Tiffany), Mr. Justin Miles, Master Kylan Thomas, Master Landon Thomas, Ms. Alisha Pugh, Miss Jamaya Rose, Ms. Jazmin Thomas, Ms. Nikole Washington, Miss Avery Washington, Ms. Jaya Bryson, Miss JaMiyah Bryson, Miss JaKayln Vaughn, Master JaMichael Vaughn, Miss M’Lonie Mitchell; special relatives: Ms. Mary None, Mr. Roosevelt Mahogany, Ms. Candice Stokes; and a friend: Ms. Evon Frazier.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Orange will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Progressive immediately following will be the interment of the cremains at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Reverend Roderick B. Green ~ Pastor, Officiating ~
