Nancy, I pray that God supply you and the family with the strength and love that you need to endure this change!! Anthony was very ambitious and caring! And if you don't mind me saying so "He is not gone anywhere" One of my greatest memory of my nephew is holding him when he was a tiny baby and he was so full of life!! when he was about 2yrs old my husband name him "apache" because he love to run and it was so hard to catch!! I just will pray your strength in the lord and may God bless you and keep you strong!!
To the family of Anthony Blanks, I send my condolences from Davenport, Iowa. I first meet Anthony when we were station together in Baumholder, Germany in 1985 (B Co 2/34 INF). We became friends and always has so much to talk about. From Baumholder, Germany to Fort Benning where we both became Drill Sergeants. I lost contact with Anthony when I PCS to Fort Hood, Texas in November 1992. I want to leave you all with a word of encouragement and pray that God will comfort all of the family hearts. In the book of Revelation John writes in Chapter 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. May God blessing be upon your family.
Elder George L. Benjamin

Nancy And family. Our heartfelt condolences to each of you. Our friend, neighbor, and gracious person will surely be missed. Please know, memories bring comfort. Keeping you all in our prayers. Ken and Ann herring.
First Lady and Blankettes, my heart goes out to you for our loss. Antman was the heart and conscience of our class. He always was about unity among us. His friendship meant so much to me. When he retired and I was out of work on disability, he and I would be on the phone for hours talking about the "coulda- shoulda-wouldas", and what we "use to do" remembering the times. He kept me grounded and humbled in his own way by lovingly telling me to "sat your 'you know what down' some way"! However, he did not allow anyone else to talk to me like that! We bumped heads often because we were both stubborn and extremely vocal knowing everything and having to have the last word. Such fond memories. I could go on and on, so I will put a pin in this. There is not enough time in a day for me to talk about him. I know that he will forever be with us in spirit. Together Forever '81!
Much Love Flo-Mat
