I pray that the Thompson family may be blessed with the comfort, strength and pray the memory of the love you shared will sustain you during this sad time. Al was a humble man, so kind to so many and a friend to many more. I loved the joking around with Mark and his boys they all loved each other. Those of us who knew him are so hurt that he has moved on to an eternal life with our Heavenly Father. May Al rest with the Lord.

Albert's passing is a great loss to all of us who were raised with, grew-up with, went to school with and loved him. I pray God's blessings upon his family and upon all of us in our sadness. For we are all dying, from the moment of birth. Live our lives accordingly so on that day, the heavens will rejoice...

To know that he is no longer here saddens me greatly, but the thoughts and the memories of the front yard water fights, the dances at Southern Junior High, the rough but encouraging talks that he gave me to push me forward, the kindness that he always displayed, and our adventures at the University of Georgia will always keep him in my heart. Albert was a friend and I will miss him.
