Mr. Willie J. Roberts ,age 81, Lanett, AL transitioned on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Diversicare Nursing and Rehab. The family will be receiving guest at the residence of Mrs. Hattie M. Marshall, 3605 23rd Avenue, Valley, AL.

Mr. Willie J. Roberts was born March 21, 1938 in Chambers County, Alabama to the parentage of the late Guss and Annie Lee Walker Roberts. He transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Diversicare of Lanett Health and Rehab. Center, Lanett, AL.

Willie was preceded in death by his sisters, Gussie Mae Giddens, Mattie Mae Jones, Joanne Lyons, and brothers, William Roberts, Joe Roberts, Charlie B. Roberts, and Horace White. He leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters , Hattie Mae Marshall, Valley, AL, Nettie Lyons and Betty Newton both of Lanett, AL and host of nieces and nephew, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service for Mr. Roberts will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 12:00(noon) in the Chapel of the M. W. Lee Mortuary with the Rev. Calvin Marshall, Eulogist, Rev. Rodney Jones, Rev. Stanley Roberts, assisting. The family is receiving visitors at the residence of Mrs. Hattie Marshall, 3605 23rd Avenue, Valley, AL.
