Obituary For Theresa “Resa” Johnson Farrow
Ms. Theresa “Resa” Johnson Farrow, 70, of LaGrange, GA, formerly of Lanett, AL, gained her wings into eternal rest of November 11, 2024.
Mrs. Theresa “Resa” Johnson Farrow, the daughter of the late Herman and late Rebecca Johnson-Monagan was born August 24, 1954 in Chambers County, Alabama. Her parents were blessed with the birth of a bouncing baby girl.
Early Monday morning, November 11, 2024, the Lord saw that Theresa was getting tired and called his faithful servant home after battling a long and lengthy illness.
“Resa” ,as she was known to many, accepted Christ as her Lord and savior and was united with the Pine Grove United Methodist Church of LaFaytte, Alabama, where she served in many capacity.
She received her education in Lanett Public Schools System and was a graduate of Lanett High School, class of 1972. She was employed with West Point Pepperell for many years until its closing. Afterward, she went to work at InterfaceFlooring until failing health.
“Resa was a loving, caring person who always had a smile on her face that would warm your heart anytime you saw her. One thing about Resa, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by Herman Johnson Sr. (father), Rebecca Johnson-Monagan, (mother), Herman “BoxSupper” Johnson Jr. (brother), Patricia Johnson, (sister) and Bobby L. Monagan (stepfather),
Theresa leaves behind to cherish her memories: three loving brothers, Pastor Ricky (Evangeline) Johnson, Bobby “Ned” Johnson , and Rev. Curtis Johnson; one sister, Vicky Johnson; two special friends, Patricia Primrose and Jackie Avery; sisters-in-love, Thelma Hodo and Bessie Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services for Ms. Theresa “Resa” Johnson Farrow will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. ET in the sanctuary of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 2180 County Road 162, LaFayette, AL 36862 with Pastor Cecelia Broome, Eulogist, Pastor Patricia Carter, Minister LaKesia Scott and Apostle Eusherla Pitts, assisting.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, 3202 Country Club Road, Lanett, AL 36863.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
