Taneshia “Nene” Bridges was born July 29, 1982, in Langdale AL to Rebecca Bridges, Wardell (Diane) O’Neal & Jimmy (Rhonda) Wilson. She departed this life on April 27, 2024 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, GA.
Early in life, she accepted Christ as her savior and attended the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, West Point, GA.
“NeNe”, as she was affectionately known to many, received her education in the Troup County School System, where she was a member for the 2000 graduating class of Troup High School, LaGrange, GA.
She was currently employed by Milliken & Company (Valway Plant) LaGrange,GA. Nene was the life of the party. She loved her children, grandchildren and her family. She enjoyed celebrating life. Her doors were open and meals were always prepared. Her signature Red Lip Stick meant she was ready to have a good time.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Willie Frank and Tommie Kate Todd Bridges Sr., Mr. Willie Arthr and Ardell O’Neal and Willie F. and Christene Wilson Sr.; her uncles, Willie Frank Bridges Jr. and Freddie J. Bridges.
Taneshia leaves behind her loving children, Kerneshia Bridges, Shakiera Reeves, KJ Tucker, Angel Tucker, and Kievan Bridges and bonus children, Alaziah and JT Tucker all of West Point,
GA; precious grandchildren, JaKaiden Bridges, Jayden Davis, Jayceon Davis, Kaysen Harris, J’Niyah Bridges, Kingston Tucker, Kyzir Harris and Kamien Tucker all of LaGrange, GA; parents, Rebecca Bridges, Wardell(Diane)O’Neal, Jimmy (Rhonda)Wilson all of West Point,GA; her silbings, LaFranco (Shanell) Bridges, Marquita (Dondi) Towles, Ashley Bridges, Carnesia Wilson, Jimmy Wilson Jr. and Latrishia Wright all of West Point, GA; her precious nieces and nephews, Deasia Bridges, DeJavion Towles, Dontaveus Towles, DeQuavion Towles, Ataiya Bridges, LaFranco Bridges Jr., Makayla Shears, Bailee Bridges, Alina Bridges, Adralla Bridges, Makayla Wilson, Doniya Wilson, Dylan Wilson and Aubree Williams all of West Point, GA; a special friend, Ricky Sinkfield and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Taneshia “NeNe” Bridges will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. ET in the sanctuary of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1111 East 10th Street West Point, GA with Pastor LaFrederick Bridges serving as the eulogist.
Interment will be following in the Marseilles Cemetery, 400-498 E. 12th Street, West Point, GA.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. ET until 6:00 p m. ET at the mortuary.
