Obituary For Raymond Gray
Mr. Raymond Gray, the son of the late Eugene (Sr.) and Lillian Lockhart Gray was born March 10, 1969 in Atlanta, Fulton County, GA. He was the fifth child out of ten siblings born into this union. Raymond entered peacefully into eternal rest on July 18, 2024 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange, GA.
“Old Man”, as he was known by many, received his education in the LaGrange City School System. He was an employee Tyler’s Restaurant and LaGrange Car Wash for several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Shears Gray; a grandson, Ja’Reginald Harris, a sister, Kathy Lee Ramsey, a brother,
Phillip Lamar Gray and a sisters-in-law, Patricia Gray, Tamekia, Gray.
Raymond leaves to cherish his memories: his former wife, Delores Shears Gray; their four children, Raymond Shears Gray, Jonathan Gray, Keshuna Gray, Gary Harris, Jonta Gray; grandchildren, Ja’Cory Gray, Ranterrious Harris, Adrian Shears, Kejuan Harris, DeQuan Harris and Aaidyn Shears; brothers, Eugene Gray, Jr., Alfonzo Gray, Tyrone(Katrista)Gray, Mark(Stephanie)Gray, Timothy Gray; sisters, LaTasha(Demetris)Maddox, Regina(Frederick)Gray; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
Public viewing will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the M. W. Lee Mortuary.
