My heart was broken when I learned of Phedeicia's passing. When I came to know the Tolmaire family, Phedeicia had just lost her position as the baby of the family to Mark. I remember talking to her one day and her telling me that her name was "Cupcake". From that point forward, I always called her "Cupcake".
"Cupcake" had a smile that could & would brighten any day and the personality to match. No matter when I saw her, she was always smiling. I can still see her smiling face now. She was always the same sweet, mild-tempered, smiling child no matter when I saw her. She never changed.
To the family, I wish to express my sympathy. Courteney, Mark, Pheneicia, Pheleicia, Mark, Maranda, Ms. Gaynell, please know that you are in my prayers. Rely on Jehovah God and the strength that he provides. There isn't a right or wrong way to grieve. We all grieve differently. At times like this, I have found comfort in the Bible. Two scriptures come to mind, and I know that they will help you too.
Psalms 55:22 says "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee". Romans 15:5 "God of patience and consolation". I will continue to pray for your family.

R.I.P. SWEETHEART AMEN.....
I had the pleasure of teaching Phedeicia at summer camp in June. Her smile was so bright and a joy. I remember her taken charge of group's STEM's activity which lead them to doing well because of her idea. I pray for the family's strength. Phedeicia is well again and with our Lord. I'm sure she was welcomed into the Kingdom with open arms. Her memory will live on with so many at LCMS.♥️
Phadeicia was such a sweet young lady. Such a pleasure to have known her (since 1st grade). She will always be in my memory. Always remember Jesus words at John 5:21, 28, 29.
May you all find comfort in knowing that soon God promise to do away with death, sorry and pain (Rev. 21:3,4).
Blessed be . . . the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation."—2 Corinthians 1:3, 4. May you allow HIM to comfort you.
Phedeicia was a joy and a delight with so much love to give. I am so thankful that she was in my class in the 5tn grade at Ethel Kight. She was a wonderful student and a beautiful friend to all. Her smile is one I'll never ever forget. She impacted many and left a beautiful legacy. I am heartbroken over her passing but I know God's ways are higher than ours. I pray for His peace that passes all earthly understanding to comfort all who knew her, especially her family.
I can just see her worshipping at church. I remember taking her to kids camp and watching her be loved on by the staff their as well as enjoying the chapel services. She came alive that week of camp. She had the brightest smile that melted bad days away. I am so thankful to have gotten to know her and be her children's pastor when I had that chance. Phedeicia is a great example of how to never let the hard things in life to steal your joy. I love the Tolmaire and Payne family. I appreciate you for sharing this angel with us. If you need anything, we are here for you.
Love, Matthew and Brittany Karr (Mr. Matt)
