Obituary For Peggy Davidson
Ms. Peggy Davidson, age 73, of Valley, AL, transitioned on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at her residence.
Peggy Avery was born to Molly Avery & K.C. Avery on February 12, 1949, in Chambers County, Alabama.
Peggy was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family and the church. Peggy was employed at Walmart located in the Valley, AL, where she was loved by many.
We know that God is pleased to have one of his Angel’s back in his arm’s where she belongs. She will be sorely missed on Earth.
Although Peggy passed away on 22nd of October her soul continues to live on through her adorable family and friends. Peggy was a caring and lovable woman whose life was devoted to Christ, her children, family, and the people around her. She enjoyed life well. Her uniqueness was different and one of a kind. Peggy was known for her love of hats. She was affectionately nicknamed the Queen of Church Hats by her family. She was loved by so many and will be truly missed by her family, friends, and community.
She will be lovely remembered by her children: Sheila Avery, Laveto Davidson, Waldo (Sabrina) Davidson; her loving sister and brothers Hattie (Willie) McClure, Molly Avery, KC (Dorothy) Avery, Clifford (Sue) Avery; beloved grandchildren, Yolacia Davidson, Yaniia Davidson, Mercedes Davidson, Isaiah Davidson; one great grandson Ashton White. Peggy also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends to cherish her memories.
A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Davidson will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m, ET in the sanctuary of the Zion Rest Baptist Church with Pastor Sabrina Davidson Officiating and Pastor Fredrick Stanley, Eulogist.
Interment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
Arrangements entrusted to M.W. Lee Mortuary.
