Ms. Patricia "Neicy" Hughley (69) of Valley, Alabama, gained her wings into eternal rest at EAMC-Opelika, Opelika, Alabama on June 4, 2026.
With deep love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life and legacy of Patricia A. Hughley.
Ms. Patricia A. Hughley was born on July 8, 1956, in Lanett, Alabama to the parentage of the late Mose Lyons and
Annie L. Heard. On Thursday June 4, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika, Alabama, the angels of Heaven stood by her side and whispered,“Come with me for eternal rest.”
At an early age, Patricia accepted Christ and united with the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully.
Patricia was educated in the Chambers County Public School System.
She was known as a loving, helpful, kind person, and a woman of strength, that never never met a stranger. She loved everyone, and she was the life of the party. Patricia enjoyed cleaning, dancing, shopping, talking, and spending time with family and friends. She was always giving with love and welcomed everyone in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Hughley; siblings, Willie Tucker, Charles Heard, and Roy Heard; aunts; Effie M. Heard, and Ethel Winston.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Clifford (Angela) Heard, Shaleeka L. Gunn, Rodericus Heard; siblings, Betty Winston, Gloria Marcus, Michael (Sherry) Heard, Johnny Heard; grandchildren; Montavious, Taquii, Jahari, Jaron, Jaliyah, and Jayla; great-grandchildren, Amari, Easton, Evan, Alaysia, London, and Paris; uncle,Willie R. Goss; a devoted life partner, William Wilson; special; niece Latasha (Mark) Tucker; devoted friends, Shay (Danny) Brooks, Lavonne ”Toot” Wilson, and Shakell (Adrian) McFarlin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dear friends.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and will truly be missed beyond measure.
