Nadine Morgan was born December 6,1955 in Chambers County AL to the union of Mr. John Morgan Sr., and Rachel Cox Morgan. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA.
“Nae”, as she was affectionately called, accepted Christ our Lord and Savior at an early age at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Lanett, AL. Her name had a special meaning “HOPE”, Charming to lift the spirits of others and give them something to believe. She was a sweet, quiet, and soft spoken women who generously loved her family. Nadine was a proud member of the West Point High School graduating class of 1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; two brothers, Walter Lee Morgan, and John Morgan Jr.; and two sisters, Rosie Morgan, and Constance Morgan.
She leaves to cherish her memories to two sons, Al (Yashika) Morgan of LaGrange GA, and Brandon Morgan of Columbus GA; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, three brothers, David (Alice) Morgan of West Point, GA; Sammie L. (Lisa) Morgan of Lanett AL, Gary (Carolyn) Morgan of Lanett, AL; two sisters, Linda Morgan of West Point, GA, and Mechelle Morgan of LaGrange, GA., a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside Services for Ms. Morgan will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 12:00 (Noon), ET in the Marseilles Cemetery with Rev. Larry Williams, Eulogist and Rev. Leonard Autry, Sr., assisting.
Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. ET until 6:00 p.m. ET.
