Kathaus Bryant Johnson was born on March 3, 1982 to the parentage of the late Kenneth Bryant Bethea and Jerolyn Meta Johnson. He departed this life on September 5, 2023 at the Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
Kathaus was a product of the Troup County School System, where he graduated from Troup County Comprehensive High School. He was a lively student and kept the class in stitches.

He was a joy to be around. Kathaus always graced your presence with a conversation and laughter. He lived life. He gave off good vibes to all he came in contact with. He was the life of the party.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Charles Johnson, Sr. and Bettye Graham Johnson; his paternal grandparent, Marilyn Ross; uncles, Terell Johnson and Melvin Tucker; aunt, Vickie Avery Potts.
Kathaus leaves to cherish his legacy: three children, Makayla Johnson of Phenix City, AL, Marcus Heath of Phenix City. AL, Taylor Winston of Lanett, AL; two sisters, Demeetra (Telly) Calloway of Opelika, AL and Erica Murphy of Valley, AL; four brothers, Dion Harper of Cusseta, AL, Dwight Harper of Cusseta, AL, Jonathan (Tomecka) Woody of Valley, AL, and Keymone Hicks of West Point, GA; two aunts, Melva Roberts of West Point, GA and Zinn Evette Johnson of West Point, GA; four uncles, Reginald Johnson of West Point, GA, Julius Johnson I of West Point, GA, William C.
