Mr. Jameson Lamar “Snake”, “Fat Head” Hargett, age 37, of West Point, GA transitioned on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
Jameson Lamar Hargett was born on November 11, 1983 to the parentage of Maxine Hargett and James Hayes LaGrange, GA. He departed this life on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
Jameson was a humble and silly down to earth man. He didn't meet a stranger. His energy was so mellow; it was hard not to like him. If you ever needed a laugh, he was the one that would sure put a smile on your face. "Snake",as he was known to many, was just an all around good person. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marshall Hargett, Sr.; uncle, Marshall “Dedon” Hargett, Jr. ,whom he loved dearly; and cousin, Terry Hargett.
Jameson leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Jaelynn Winston of West Point GA; sons, Jamondae Hargett of West Point, GA and Keegan Slaughter of LaGrange, GA; his mother, Maxine Hargett of West Point, GA; his father, James Hayes of LaGrange, GA; sisters, Miata Hargett of Valley, AL, Maria Hargett of LaGrange, GA, Nikita McCullough of West Point, GA; brothers, Travis "Trabo" Hargett, Darnell McCullough, Broderick "Gutta" Poole , Christopher "Stoney Rock" Gilliam all of West Point, GA ; maternal grandmother, Raycine Hargett of West Point, GA; aunts, Ocie Hargett, Joanne Hargett, Consaylo Glaze all of West Point, GA, Liz Smith of Valley, AL, Odessa Hayes, Cynthia Hayes, Lakara Hayes all of Atlanta, GA; uncles, Keith Hargett, Videz Hargett, Terrylee Hargett, Tony Hargett all of West Point, GA, Ricky (Wanda) Hayes of LaGrange, GA; godmother, Sally Sue McCullough of West Point, GA; nieces, Tra'keriya Slaughter, Nakiya Penn both of West Point, GA, Er'Riyan Holloway of Valley, AL, Syria Hargett of LaGrange, GA; a special friend Temora Howell of West Point, GA and a host of cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.
Graveside Service for Mr. Hargett will be held at 1:00 p.m. ET, Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the Marseilles Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky Hayes, Eulogist, Rev. Patrick Turner, assisting. Public Viewing will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
