Mr. George Lee Cofield, Jr., 62, of Lanett, AL, passed away on October 12, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral Services for Mr. George Lee Cofield, Jr. will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the New Dimensions Worship Center, 5610 20th Avenue, Valley, Alabama 36854 with Bishop Donald Lancaster, Pastor, Eulogist.
Interment will be held in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 1516 44th Avenue, SW, Lanett, Alabama 36863.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the M. W. Lee Mortuary.
Life’s Reflections
George Lee Cofield, Jr.,son of the late George Lee Cofield Sr. and Willie Ethel Wright Cofield was born on November 10, 1962 in Chambers County, Alabama.
He devoted his life to Christ at an early age.
On Sunday, October 12, 2025, he departed this life at his residence. George was preceded in death by his daughter, Tabitha Tucker.
George leaves to cherish his memories with his two daughters Daphne Floyd of Lanett, Alabama and Annie Tucker of Lanett, Alabama; his loving sisters , Deborah Cofield Farrow, Lisa (Lorenzo)Williams, Regina Cofield , Patricia Cofield all of Lanett, Alabama; one brother, Terrence Cofield (Vicki Jackson), of Lanett, Alabama; a aunt, Mary King of Stockbridge, Georgia; eleven precious grandchildren; three great-grands and a host of nieces and nephew cousins and other relatives and friends; will also be remembered by his special friends, TJ Moore, George Davis and Nick Davis.
