Obituary For Franklin “Frank” McCants
Mr. Franklin “Pop” McCants was born on July 16, 1945 in Valley, Chambers County, AL, to the parents of the late Asa and Josie McCants. He was called home to glory on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA.
Franklin confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Rehoboth Baptist Church. He received his education from Rehobeth High School. Franklin retired from the City of Valley with the Street Maintenance Department. His hobbies were working out in the yard cutting grass and planting flowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a loving wife, Elizabeth “Liz” McCants; brothers, Larkin, George, and John Wesley; daughter Linda M. Harris, and sons, Michael, Jeffrey, and Merrell.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 12:00(noon) ET in the sanctuary of the Friendship Baptist
Church, 3089 Judge Brown Road, Valley, AL 36863 with Pastor LC Thomas, Rev. Charles Magby, Officiant, Pastor Terry Magby, Eulogist, Pastor Earnest Tucker, Evangelist Patricia Tucker, Pastor Frankie Hutchinson, assisting.
Interment to follow in the Rehoboth Church Cemetery, Valley, AL.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. ET at the mortuary.
