Carlton Allen Hill was born May 27th, 1956, in West Point, Ga to the late Cisroe Reed and Viola Hill. He transitioned from life on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at the Piedmont Regional Midtown Hospital Columbus, Ga.
Early in life, he accepted Christ as his savior and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was educated at the Harrison High School and employed by West Point Stevens, and Mountville Mills until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his mother Viola Hill, father, Cisroe Reed, aunts and uncles Sarah McCarden, Ollie B. McCarden-Hill, Johnie Mae McCarden, Booker T. McCarden, Ozella McCarden-Hill, Hattie Paul Hill, Gladys Hill, Mattie Bill Hill, George Andrew “Scatter” Hill, Willie James Hill, sister-in-law Gloria Reed, brother-in-law, Elder Fred Darden, and niece, Veronica Jackson
Carlton leaves to cherish his precious memories; his devoted wife of 37 years Andrea D. Hill; three daughters, Tiffany Jones, Carnedra Hill, both of Columbus, Ga, Mekita (Tonica) Lattimore Lagrange, Ga; one son, Quillian Allen Lafayette, Al; six sisters, Addie Lindsey Brooklyn, New York, Alice Darden, Bernice Truitt both of Valley, Al, Margie (Troy) King, Vickie (Willie) Stringer both of West Point, Ga, Luvenia Cameron, Cannonville, Ga; two brothers, Willie Reed, West Point, Ga, and David (Debra) Hill, Sugar Hill, Ga; Mother-in-law Dorothy Allen Chattanooga Tennessee, Father-in-law Bobby (Yvonne) Palmer Lagrange Ga; two sister in laws, Sabrina (Bobby) Shorter, Lagrange Ga, Chalencia Palmer Atlanta, Ga; four brother-in-laws, Bobby Palmer Jr. Lagrange Ga, Quiski Palmer, Chattanooga Tennessee, Derrick (Beniquez) Palmer, Victor (Angel) Palmer, Lagrange Ga; Six grandchildren, Solmaneshia (Jemelle) Jenkins, Lanett, Al, Wytinsea Jones, Joshua Harper, both of Columbus, Ga, Quintavious Allen, Jertavias Allen, both of Lagrange, Ga, Madison Hill, Columbus, Ga; thirteen great grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mr. Carlton Allen Hill will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1111 E. 10th Street, West Point, GA with Rev. Travis Porter, Pastor, Rev. David Hill, Eulogist, Rev. Charles Trammell, Officiating, Reverend Jeffery McCauley, Reverend Pauline Pollard, Reverend Alice Darden, Assisting.
Interment will be held in the Westview Cemetery, 800 Austin Street, West Point, Georgia 31833.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the M. W. Lee Mortuary.
