Funeral Services for Ms. Annie R. "Sis" Glaze will be held on Saturday,
March 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST. in the Sanctuary of New Dimensions
Worship Center, 5610 20th Avenue, Valley, Alabama 36854, Bishop Donald
Lancaster, Pastor, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Greenwood Baptist
Church Cemetery, 4829 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Lanett, Alabama 36863.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 2:00 p.m.
until 6:00 p.m. at the M. W. Lee Mortuary.
Annie Ruth (Finley) Glaze was born on January 25, 1948 to the late Joe Davis Finley and Annie Mae Finley. She was affectionately known to her family and friends as “Sis”. She departed this life on March 4, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.
Annie was educated in the Chambers County School System.She retired from West Point Pepperell with over 38 years of service.
"Sis" enjoyed fishing, cooking, shopping and most of all spending time with her daughters, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Glaze; two brothers, Isaiah Finley and Joe Finley, Jr., and one sister, Teresa Finley.
Annie Ruth leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her family tree two daughters, Belinda (Erick) Woody, Gloria (Jack) Finley both of Lanett, Alabama; two sisters, Mozell and Shirley Finley both of Lanett, Alabama; four grandkids, Marco (Jackie) Finley, Samantha (Tabias) Finley, Hubert (Jocelyn) Finley all of West Point,Georgia, and Tawanda Morgan of LaGrange, Georgia; eight great-grandkids Latrevias Towles, D'Jayla Finley, Jemer Finley and Ta'Lyn Buckner all of West Point, Georgia; Emersyn Jackson of LaGrange, Georgia, Amarelle Finley, Jakob Finley and Bryce Finley all of Columbus, Georgia; a special niece, Bobbie J.(Russell) Williams, a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
