Obituary For Peggy Welch Wilson
Peggy Welch Wilson, 74, of LaGrange, Ga, passed away on February 18, 2026 at Poplar Creek Senior Care. She was born in LaFayette, Alabama, on November 22, 1951, to the late Grady and LaVelle Welch.
Peggy was a retired teacher at West Georgia Technical College in LaGrange, Ga after 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Methodist in LaGrange, Ga.
Peggy is survived by a sister, Jane (Tim) McClendon of LaGrange, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Johnny Wilson.
A Graveside service will be held on Sunday February 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CST at Pleasant Grove Congregational Christian Church Cemetery, 4472 CO Rd 53, LaFayette, Al 36862, with Reverand Barry Brooks officiating. Family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service.
