Obituary For Peggy Joyce Ragsdale Shaver
Mrs. Peggy Joyce Ragsdale Shaver 83, of Milltown, Alabama died Wednesday August 25, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Peggy was born April 20, 1938 to the late Clifford and Lala Ragsdale of Penton, Alabama. She was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church in Milltown, Alabama she was a retired lunchroom manager for 19 years at Eastside Elementary in LaFayette, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held Sunday August 29, 2021 at 2PM at the Milltown Baptist Church with Brother Roger Hammett and the Rev. Claude Bennett officiating with burial to follow at the Penton Church Of God Cemetery.
Pallbearers Ethan Howard, Joe Howard, Dan Gordon, Jamie Ogle, Brandon Rowland, & Shannon Frailey.
Honorary Pallbearers T. J. Wood, Mike Parrish, Bryan Yates, Tommy Sims, Jerry Still, Tommy Sims.
Visitation will be at the church Sunday from 1PM until 2PM prior to the service.
She is survived by 4 Children Vickie (Eddie) Adams, Gina (Mark) Kirkley, Hope (John) Howard, Danny (Beth) Shaver, 10 Grandchildren Charity (Jamie) Ogle, Codie (Brandon) Rowland, Marcie (Dan) Gordon, Jordan (Bradley) Shaver, Danlee (Shannon) Frailey, Ethan (Candace) Howard, Joe Howard, Astrid Taylor, Paige Shaver, Emily (Jason) Horn, 9 Great Grandchildren Gage (Cassie) Ogle, Hailey Ogle, Salem Rowland, Roman & Memphis Bright, Bella Gordon, Sophia Spears, Emma Horn and Colby Frailey. 2 Great Great Grandchildren Kyler & Clate Ogle and also her life long friends Willie Dell Carter and Benton Foster and her dog Lexi and her Sister LaRue Wallace.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Sisters Mabel Ragsdale and Betty Oliver and her Husband of 37 years Joe Terry Shaver.
