Obituary For Charlotte Brooks
Mrs. Charlotte Brooks, 60 of LaFayette, Alabama died Monday January 27, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Chambers County, August 14, 1959 to the late Charles Carroll and the late Patricia Cook Carroll, she was a member of the Happy Valley Baptist Church, and was employed with the Valley Times News from 1980 until 2017, and fought a courageous battle with ovarian cancer from 2008 until her death.
Memorial services will be held Friday January 31, 2020 at 10AM at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Rev. Rusty Letson officiating.
She is survived by her Husband Neal Brooks of LaFayette, Al. Daughter Katie Brooks of LaFayette, Al., Son Christopher (Britta) Brooks of Dallas, Tx., Sister Loretta (Buddy) Cofield of Beulah, Al., Grandchildren Aubry & Gabriel Brooks, Sister in Law Judy (Troy) Guthrie of Jacksonville, Fl., Brother In Law Wayne Brooks of Jacksonville, Fl., Nephews David (Meagan) Cauley of Walnut Hill, Fl., Dylan Cauley of Valley, Al., Special Friends Kathy (Larry) Reeves of LaFayette,Al., and Martha Milner of Valley, Al.,Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.
Was preceded in death by her Parents, Grandparents Mary Lou & William Cook and Leonard & Madell Carroll.
