Danny was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in LaFayette, Alabama. His church and his church family were very special to him.
He was known for his jokes that he loved to tell. No matter how many times he told that same joke, he would laugh as if it was the first time he told it, no matter how many times you heard that same joke, he wanted you to laugh as it was the first time.
Our daddy will be truly missed by his family and friends. We have peace knowing that he is with our Father in heaven, and that we will see him again one day.
We would like to thank Holly, Wendy, Dr. Atoboye, and the wonderful staff at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice for the compassion and care they gave to our daddy and to us.
Service will be held Friday March 14 at 2:00 pm CST at Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend Chuck Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Community Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday March 13 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm CST at Jeff Jones Funeral Home.

I remember when Danny went to Community Baptist Church and would recited the John 3:16 story to the church. It always blessed my heart. He is with Jesus now. I want Sandy and her family to know that I'm very sorry for their loss. I will keep ya'll in my prayers. I love you.
Very sorry to hear Danny passed! The years I was living in Lafayette, I saw Danny often. He was always a good friend!
Just Won't To Say danny was a good man will be miss by all he is walking the street of heaven with his love ones Sorry for your loss
DK was a good man and he welcomed me and my family in with open arms from day one, not only at Shiloh but as family. He was so kind and loved to make a joke, no matter the situation. Our impromptu conversations, often sparked by his accidental calls would blossom into meaningful connections, and I was constantly inspired by his unwavering devotion to Mrs. Sandy. His love for her was a testament to the transformative power of faith and compassion. He will truly be missed by me + my family (Chase + Kaylyn). DK's precious soul may have left us, but his legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion will continue to uplift and inspire us. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family, and I hope you find solace in knowing that DK's spirit now shines brightly in the presence of our Lord.
Frank, Margie, Danny and I go back many years together. So sorry to hear about Danny. May God keep you all in His Hands.
I AM SO SORRY ABOUT DANNY LOVE YOU ALL
