I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers and condolences to the family. I worked with him at the 81st RD. He was such a kind person.
Suzie, ZJ, Little Britt, and Matthew I am so sorry to hear of Britts passing. I served with Britt for a few years in Saint Louis but built a life long friendship. The memories we made will not be forgotten. Britt was one of the best officers I served with in my 35 year career. Any position assigned he excelled. and he touched the hearts and minds of all he came in contact with. He became a mentor and one you could trust and lean on. RIP my battle buddy, you are missed! Rhonda
Suzie, ZJ, Britt, Matthew I am so sorry to hear of Britts passing. I only served with Britt for a short 2 years, but the stories we made together were are a life time full. Britt was one of the best commanders I served with in my 26 year career. As a commander of 8th BN, Britt stressed the support and need of family above all missions. His words to me were "Sergeant Major, I want to make sure that all our Soldiers have a healthy family life. If we make the soldiers happy with the family life, they will go to the ends for us." He was right, and that is the moto I maintain to this day. I will miss my battle buddy, but I know that he is in the hands of God, watching down on us, and guiding us on a better life. RIP my battle buddy, and I will see you again at the pearly gates. Michael Winters
Britt was a great Soldier to serve with and even a better friend to have. I was blessed to meet Britt while working with him 20 years ago in St. Louis. We continued to keep in touch during our careers and retirement. Rest in peace my "Frozen Chosen" battle buddy. You are loved and will be missed!
Britt was a patriot and a leader. It was a privilege to serve with him but best of all he was a friend. I can't express how important he was in my life and the positive impact he had on all of us at the U S Army Reserve Command during his time at Fort Bragg. He will be greatly missed and I thank God for the time we had with him.
I was greatly saddened to hear of Britt's passing. I had served in two Army assignments with him and highly valued his friendship. I will miss his humor and good nature but consider my life much more enriched for having known him.
I am so sorry to hear of Britt's passing. I recall him as a gentle soul who was always pleasant. No doubt that he is now cancer-free and in the presence of our Lord. Mr. Horace, Ms. Shirley, Steven and Susan, along with Britt's wife and children, my thoughts and prayers. 🙏
Losing a loved one is incredibly painful, and very personal.
