Wanda R. Hume, 60, of Nicholson, Ga passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026 at Athens Regional Hospital surrounded by family. She was born in Athens, Ga. to Virgilio and Wanda Kay Reynante. Wanda was a dedicated spotter at Lazer Logistics for 9 years, an electrician by trade, and a long haul truck driver for twenty years.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy, her sisters, Grace and Leilani, 7 grandchildren: Shaun, Hayden, Robert, Kayla (Gracie), Wyatt, Jacob, and Reagan, and 2 great grandchildren, Jaxson and Corey. She was preceded in death by husband Mike, daughter, Tara (Joe) and son, Bobby.
