He moved to Atlanta, GA and eventually led the regional data center there. He later worked in the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) for the State of Georgia in his final position before retirement.
Faith played a central role in Ron’s life. He was a member of Highlands Presbyterian (Loganville, GA) last, Grace Presbyterian (Stone Mountain, GA) second, and Chapel Woods Presbyterian (Decatur, GA) when he first moved here. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Atlanta Braves and all Georgia Tech teams. Above all, he was a dedicated husband, father, and family member. He is survived by his wife Anna, his two children: Eric (Trina) and Craig (Laura). He also leaves behind beloved grandchildren Charles, Collin, and Kingsley, all of whom will forever cherish his love, wisdom, and unwavering support. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers Arnold and Lee, as well as infant son Michael, and is now reunited with them in eternal rest.
A private celebration of Ron’s life will be held for family only. Interment of his cremated remains will follow later in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, with military honors rendered in recognition of his service to our country. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org), a cause close to his heart.
