Peggy Barron, age 74, passed away quietly on May 25, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born to
Harry and Christine Barron of College Park, Georgia on November 5, 1949 and joins them in
Heaven with their blessed Lord. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Lynda
Barron, her nephew, his wife and great nephew, Caleb, Angela and Daniel Barron and her niece,
BriQany Barron.
Peggy grew up in College Park, GA. She graduated from College Park High School in 1967 and
went on to study at University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. Peggy lived in Hawaii for 30 years
where she served as Commodore of the Yacht Club and began her most beloved work with
helping others to find second chances.
Since 2005, Peggy has resided in Gainesville, GA after returning to be closer to her family. She
invested herself into helping those who needed a second chance. She worked tirelessly to
provide a home and mentorship to help others rediscover their faith and foundation.
Peggy was strong in her faith in Jesus Christ and is now in His presence.
A Celebration of Life will be held within the next few weeks.
The staff of Central Cremation Services is honored to be selected to provide end-of-life services.
